Born in Berkeley, California, Pedro relocated with his family to east Kauai in the early 1990s and he grew up enjoying sports and ocean activities in sleepy Kapaa in the years following Hurricane Iniki.  After obtaining a degree in Anthropology and Soil Sciences from Oregon State University, Pedro returned home and worked in an innovative agricultural company for several years before transitioning to real estate, beginning as a transaction manager.

Pedro’s approach to real estate is simple and starts with genuine caring for others: to listen, understand and serve each client with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity. Colleagues say he is dependable, disciplined and punctual, and eager to go the extra mile for his clients. His prior experience on the transaction side gives him an edge in skillfully navigating contracts and timelines and understanding the importance of walking clients through each step of the sometimes-daunting process.  Pedro’s dogged work ethic wrapped up in a calm demeanor, creative problem-solving, and responsiveness set him apart in a large field. Asked what is most rewarding about real estate, Pedro says, “Seeing the excitement my clients feel when we close the deal, and the dreams they envision for their new life is a truly rewarding feeling. I got into this industry to help others achieve a goal, and it feels incredible to be a part of that.”

When he isn’t meeting with clients, visiting homes and condos or poring through listings that match their criteria, Pedro enjoys hiking with his dog, salsa dancing and still retains his passion for getting in the ocean. He is active in a book club and frequently volunteers with the Surfrider Foundation cleaning up ocean pollution. A long-term dream he holds is to someday open a free yearly basketball clinic for youth to give back to the community.
